Activities of SANSKAR


Integrated Community development program supported by EED, Germany through Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA), Kolkata


The program was implemented in 25 villages of Jaridih block, Bokaro District with five main issues, which are as follows:-

  • Food Security
  • Identity Crisis
  • Self Governance System
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Microcredit and SHGs.
  • Gender equality

The objective of the program is “Creation of critical awareness among tribal, regarding the identified issues, creation of necessary support structure in the society for sustainability of their livelihood and culture, setting in motion the process that could empower women and deprived tribal, make education an instrument of women’s equality and social change”.


Integrated Development of Women and youth supported by Andheri Hilfe, Bonn, Germany


The Project was implemented in the 30 villages of Jaridih block of Bokaro District through cluster approach to demonstrate and replicate the social mobilization approach through the community based women self help groups and working with them towards poverty alleviation. To enhance the economic conditions of the group’s members through creating long, productive and sustainable assets in order to improve their livelihoods/economic well being and to promote improved, sustainable and decentralized management of rural natural resources by providing training, creating community based service infrastructure, leveraging financial resources for asset creation and creating access to credit for women’s groups.

Establishment of “Kranti Mahila Sangh”-a federation; 148 SHG members trained on livelihood issues.


Anganwadi Training Centre Supported by Social Welfare Department (Government of Jharkhand)


The organization conducts the Residential Training of Trainers of AWTCS/MTCS on recent development in Nutrition and Health care of children and women since June 2005. Continuous quality training at the center to the Anganwadi Sevikas/Sahiyas.


T.B Control Program supported by Global Fund /World Vision / CARE


This program is implemented in three District i.e. Bokaro, Dhanbad & Simdega of Jharkhand State. The project intends to address the identified challenges like insufficient laboratory capacity for detecting and follow up of requisite drug resistance cases and finding gaps for procurement of second line drug for all MDR-Tb cases planned to be initiated on treatment.

  • Proper intake of medicines & go for follow-up.
